Kicking off the show this week with more Soundspecies, you know it makes sense and the album finally drops this week, just buy it. Dealmaker are gearing up for some new releases so I thought I'd give you a little taster of the Keaver & Brause album more food for you melodic beat lovers, due in May i believe. Musical darkness comes courtesy of Dobie and the dark twisted beat excursion "The New Madness" and the emmerging talent of 21 year old Robert Logan - he's going to be LARGE. R2 are on a roll at the moment with the excellent slow mo future disco vibes of Floating Points a big tune for me this summer for sure plus I've dropped another track from the excellent afrolatin comp The Connection VOL 1. Demis Roussos is back with a new lp due in May, he's obviously not content with already selling 50million albums in his career - those were the days! Finished the show with a bit of Fela inspired afro flavour but of particular note is the new Nacho Patrol ep. who are taking the afro flavour into unchartered electronic fusion territory, I can't recommend their new ep highly enough - really unique sound.
